Information you provide
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, country or region, email address and company if provided, selected products and message. We record your consent to use these details to respond to the request. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.
How we use it
We use these details to answer product questions, provide requested catalogue or technical information, and discuss your project. An enquiry is not a subscription to marketing messages. The request also records its source page and recognised campaign parameters, where present, to help us understand which content brought you to the enquiry.
Storage and service providers
On the live website, Cloudflare provides website hosting, database storage and Turnstile abuse prevention. Cloudflare Email Service sends an email notification of the enquiry to contact@chinasurfaces.com. These services may process information in countries other than your own. In the local preview, enquiry records stay in the local development database and no email notification is sent.
Browser storage and abuse prevention
Your selected product IDs are stored in your browser’s local storage so you can carry a shortlist between pages. You can remove products from the contact page or clear your browser’s site data. Campaign information is held in session storage. This version does not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. The live enquiry service uses a salted hash of the network address for rate limiting; it does not save the raw address in the enquiry database.
Retention and your choices
Enquiry information is kept for the time needed to handle the request and any resulting business correspondence. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your enquiry details. Applicable obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs may affect what can be deleted. You can also choose to contact us directly by email instead of using the form.
