Measure the room first

Measure the usable floor or wall, including door openings, recesses and fixed furniture. Draw two possible layouts using the actual tile dimensions. This helps you see whether a larger format fits the room or leaves awkward cuts at the edges.

The ANJI catalogue includes square formats such as 800 × 800 mm and rectangles such as 750 × 1500 mm and 900 × 1800 mm. Availability is specific to each model. A colour shown in one size should not be assumed to be available in every format.

Grout and joints

Grout changes how much you notice the joints. A colour close to the tile blends in; a contrasting colour picks out each tile. Put a grout sample beside the tile to see the difference.

Large-format tiles still need a properly designed installation. Ask your installer to confirm the substrate, joint layout and installation system. Movement joints accommodate differential movement and should be considered in the project design.

Check access and cutting

Before you settle on a size, discuss delivery access, handling, cutting and the room’s fixed details with the installer. Pay particular attention to the cuts at doorways and corners.

  • Confirm the exact model and nominal size.
  • Review a sample in the intended lighting.
  • Ask for the current technical sheet and installation guidance.
  • Agree the cutting layout, joint treatment and quantity allowance with your project team.

Save the models with your layout

Save two or three models to your selection. When you contact us, include the room dimensions and where the tiles will be used so we can discuss the right product details.

Does every colour come in every size?

No. Check the size listed on the individual product page. Ask about additional formats rather than assuming that the whole series shares them.

Can I calculate order quantity from room area alone?

Room area is the starting point. The layout, cuts and project requirements also affect the quantity. Ask your installer to establish the allowance before placing an order.
